Conduct independent research into the realm of sport management, that utilizes appropriate methodologies, data collection techniques and statistical analyses.
Provide a platform for research that facilitates innovative and meaningful approaches in the field of sport management, whether it be in management, marketing, human resources, public relations, events, finance, human factor systems, technology developments and/or issues concerning human performance in sport.
Provide meaningful outputs in the genre of sport, especially in areas concerned with sport management, sport business, sport technology, and human factors issues that are articulated by means of dissertations, theses, publication of articles, conference presentations and dissemination to relevant and interested parties.
Integrated Assessment:
Research based thesis that involves a continuous process of consultation and review with the supervisor (and co-supervisor). Feedback and guidance will be elicited through the supervisor(s) and progress regularly monitored. Progress and Moderation tracking will be facilitated via the Faculty of Business Research Committee, along with the Higher Degrees Committee.
