Best practices for acquisition, development and utilisation of people in the organisation are applied.
Organisational policies and procedures are identified with regard to compensation and administration.
Associated Assessment Criteria for Exit Level Outcome 2:
The flow of HR processes of the organisation is correctly identified.
Best practices in executing HR processes are applied.
Associated Assessment Criteria for Exit Level Outcome 3:
Different learning strategies to address skills deficiencies in the organisation are explored.
Different learning and development legislation are correctly applied.
Associated Assessment Criteria for Exit Level Outcome 4:
Organisational politics is understood.
Organisational culture and its impact in on the dynamics in an organisation are understood.
Associated Assessment Criteria for Exit Level Outcome 5:
Labour relations (LRA) and employment policies (BCEA) amongst others are formulated in accordance with labour laws.
LRA and BCEA are implemented to ensure labour productivity and labour stability.
Integrated Assessment:
Three formative assessments constitute a year mark which contributes 50% of the final examination mark. A summative assessment (examination) is written at the end of the academic year and this contributes 50% of the final examination mark.
