1. Learners will demonstrate their ability and proficiency in each of the eight learning outcomes. These are tested by means of a comprehensive dissertation, which may be supplemented by an oral presentation of their research findings, and reports, by the supervisor(s).
2. All components are second-examined with external examination for the dissertation by an internationally recognised panel of experts in the related area.
3. Candidates must have demonstrated a long history of sustained excellence in the field of study.
Integrated assessment:
Adjudication takes place via a comprehensive peer review by a panel of international experts in the field of the work submitted by the candidate for assessment.
