Integrated Assessment
For award of this qualification or an exit level outcome, a candidate must be assessed against assessment criteria for each standard. Most of the assessment criteria of separate unit standards and the associated critical cross-field outcomes are interrelated. This feature must be included through integration of assessment for each standard, exit level outcome and the whole qualification. This includes the application of knowledge learnt in the workplace where the learning is undertaken.
This integrated assessment is applicable to both assessment during and on completion of learning, and to assessment of evidence submitted for the purpose of recognition of prior learning (RPL).
