1. The assessment used for the BB and AHons ensures that the exit level outcomes of this qualification is achieved
2. A range of assessment methods such as individual tasks, group tasks, role-play, work place assignments, literature studies, computer assignments, written and oral presentations and examinations are used in a process of continuous evaluation
3. The required range of modalities are used integratively to assess whether the specified outcomes have been achieved
4. Reliability is obtained by generalising from samples to the population in a judicious and planned way
5. The assessment used to meet the standard and level of achievement for NQF level 7
6. Relate learning gained from work experience to academic knowledge encountered in the academic environment and vice versa
7. The ability to draw up a comprehensive business plan for an entrepreneurial stat-up-firm
INTEGRATED ASSESSMENT
Continuous assessment takes place in a variety of ways, on both and individual and group level. Modalities include discipline specific and cross disciplinary individual and group assignments, simulations, computer assignments, work place assignments, written and oral presentations and tests. Over and above this, it is also expected that the student should draw up a business plan for an entrepreneurial start-up-firm
