A learner should be able to demonstrate the practical competences required by the contextual role, as listed above under exit level outcomes, grounded in foundational competence and integrated through reflexive competence. These competences are assessed as being performed in the specialist educator role.
INTEGRATED ASSESSMENT
The learner must be able to demonstrate his/her acquired knowledge, skills and attitudes in an integrated way through the specialist role in an authentic context. The assessment is:
Continuous, consisting of, inter alia, written and or oral tests, assignments, demonstrations, portfolios and projects and or
Summative consisting of a written or oral examination or other appropriate assessment strategy
