Assessment criteria associated with Specific Outcomes:
1. Relates learning joined from experience by providing appropriate nursing care as per individual need.
2. Take history and interview patients.
3. Attend to all basic needs of living of an individual e.g. hygiene, elimination, nutrition etc.
4. Give health education.
Ability to listen to problems of individuals and act promptly according to her scope of practice or refer.
5. Apply preventive measures of medico-legal hazards relevant in the setting where she or he is functioning.
Assessment criteria associated with Critical Cross-Field Outcomes:
1. Perform basic nursing skills effectively to meet different needs of individual.
2. Give health education effectively.
Recognise own communication limitations and problems, and seek help appropriately.
3. Show evidence of skills in group situations e.g. tolerance, empathy, listening.
Demonstrate respect for the opinion of others through written or oral reporting.
Integrated assessment to ensure that the purpose of the qualification is achieved:
1. Continuous assessment by unit personnel and teaching personnel using assessment tool.
2. Formative and summative assessment are integrated by using tests and assignments.
Formative – includes: Tests, Projects, Clinical evaluation, Clinical book, accompaniment.
Summative – includes: Internal and external examination, curricula evaluation and tool to evaluate the course.
