PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD

This unit standard has as its core purpose, qualifying learners who will be able to understand the economic realities of South Africa. The learner will demonstrate knowledge and insight into basic trade and investment opportunities in SA and abroad.

• Analyse the influence of foreign markets and globalisation on the economy of SA.
