Assessment criteria associated with Critical Cross-Field Outcomes:

Assessment criteria associated with Specific Outcomes:
1.1 Create a therapeutic environment to meet the needs of individuals, family, group and community.
1.2 Demonstrate knowledge of a nursing diagnosis.
1.3 Identify risk factors and areas for improvements of health care.
1.4 Adhere to principles of Batho Pele in the delivery of Nursing health care.
1.5 Implement nursing care interventions with active involvement of individuals, families, and members of the health team.
1.6 Be able to collect, analyse and interpret data against a body of scientific knowledge under the direct or indirect supervision of registered nurses.
1.7 Monitor, record and report accurately progress of clients and the outcome of interventions.
1.8 Demonstrate understanding of effective and psychomotor skills in the practice of her profession.
2.1 Demonstrate an understanding of nursing Act, including regulations regarding scope of practice of Enrolled Nurses, as well as other statutory legislations.
2.2 Implement the scientific process of Nursing and PHC principles to the Nursing Care of individuals/families and communities.
2.3 Respond effectively to the health care needs of society.

Integrated assessment to ensure that the purpose of qualification is achieved:
Continuous assessment is done by accompaniment tests, teachable moments and peer group assessment.
Formative and summative assessment are integrated in assignments, OSCE, examinations and proficiency tests.
