Have an awareness for and the ability to communicate the need to provide a safe environment for household and community members and to assume the responsibility for and have a positive attitude towards the environment.
Demonstrate the ability to compare, analyse, evaluate and manage situations arising in the different activities of the household and community.
Focus on food safety, food preparation principles and procedures, appropriate and acceptable menus consistent with the goals of nutritional health and well-being in the household, community and society.
Anticipate the future and respond to the demands of new developments and changes in the filed of human ecology to satisfy the needs of households and communities.
INTEGRATED ASSESSMENT
The departments concerned developed various interactive and resource-based study packages. Ongoing assessment of modules and practical work by means of assignments, experimental work, case studies, projects, reports and observation together with employers or other institutions to achieve the purpose of the qualification. Assessment will be done according to the assessment criteria of the outcomes and controlled by moderators.
