A comprehensive range of assessment criteria will be used to determine learner achievement. The overall criteria will include, but will not be confined to:
1. Demonstrating the ability to understand and apply the principles of management in a business
2. Demonstrating the ability to understand management and its environment;
3. Demonstrating the ability to understand, interpret and implement economic policy;
4. Demonstrating the ability to understand and apply work procedures in business;
5. Demonstrating the ability to apply the skills, values and knowledge pertaining to Business Management and Economics in the public, private and non governmental institutions;
6. Demonstrating the ability to understand and apply basic computing skills;
7. Demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively in the working environment
INTEGRATED ASSESSMENT
A rigorous system of continuous assessment, which reflects learner’s integration of knowledge and skills. The assessment strategies may include: tutorial, practicals, portfolios, seminar presentations, a mini-research project, tests, and written and oral examinations.
