Learners who are learning towards this qualification or learners who can be qualified through recognition of prior learning should use the following guidelines when producing evidence of competence.
Product Tests to show consistent conformance to specification through monitoring and maintaining of a process.
Production Plans to show whether learners are aware of where product value is added within processes.
Documented Regulations and Reports to show compliance with regulations and enhancement to practices of waste, quality, housekeeping, safety and relationships.
Statistics to show consistent improvement in outputs as they relate to waste, quality, safety, housekeeping and relationships.
Job Description and Development Plans to show positive teams exist where problems are being resolved, counselling is taking place and coaching is provided.
Observation of Committees in Action to show that enhancements and improvements are ongoing, that all people participate in decisions and positive interaction is evident.
Conducting Adhoc Visits to a Process to show the process running to specification and to show that communication is taking place upstream and downstream of a process.
Flow Diagrams produced for a process to show material input, possible areas of bottlenecking, communication links, product flow and possible areas of machine stoppage.
Feedback Reports and Minutes of Meetings to show that product specification and client needs have been met on a consistent basis.
Demonstration of processes being maintained and monitored where specifications are constantly being achieved.
