The following Assessment Criteria are used in an integrated manner to determine competence against the Exit Level Outcomes:
Knowledge of content, concepts and critical debates in the field of Cultural and Heritage Tourism are understood and used in interactions relating to study and/or the workplace.
Research is conducted on a relevant tourism topic and reported on in the appropriate format to meet the academic standard required at this level.
Independent fieldwork which requires gathering of data in archives, libraries, museums, cultural villages, heritage sites and a range of tourist related sites of engagement is conducted.
Research data is analysed and presented orally or in written form.
Personal skills and values as specified in the Exit Level Outcomes are positively displayed during research activities and fieldwork.
Integrated Assessment:
All the qualification’s Exit Level Outcomes are linked to specific outcomes in the individual module components of the qualification (coursework modules and research project) and assessed through continuous assessment procedures and formal examinations. The research project and the resulting report will particularly be used for integrated assessment.
